A forgotten Warzone skin for the Ghost Operator, called The Rook, is reportedly making players immune to aimbot attacks in Warzone and MW3. A content creator named NukeJesus mentioned this on his verified X account yesterday. A lot of players have seconded their claim, and it seems like wearing the skin will allow players to mess with cheaters so they miss their targets.

Is The Rook skin for Ghost immune to aimbot in Warzone and MW3?

While there is no official confirmation from Activision, several Call of Duty content creators have reported that The Rook skin causes others to lock onto the air instead of the player wearing the cosmetic. If there is a cheater in your lobby and you are in The Rook skin in Warzone, you are more or less immune to their attempts at shooting at you.

Content creator NukeJesus also said that some players are selling their accounts with The Rook because it is extremely powerful against cheaters. With Warzone having had a cheater problem for a while, gamers want a way to survive longer, and it seems like using the skin is the best way to do so.

How to unlock The Rook skin for Ghost in Warzone and MW3

Initially, The Rook was part of the Warzone and MW2 Season 5 Battle Pass rewards. However, you can still get the skin in the Call of Duty store. Here is how you can purchase it:

Open Warzone or MW3 from Call of Duty HQ.
Click on Operators and look for Ghost under your Operator section. There, you'll find all the skins for the Ghost.
Scroll down, and click on The Rook.
Then, click on View Bundle. This will take you to the store, and the MW2 Battle Pass Season 5 and 6 Collection will open for you. Here, you can find the Rook skin for the Ghost, along with several operator skins and weapon blueprints. The entire bundle costs 2,400 Call of Duty points.
Click on Purchase Bundle, and you are good to go.
