Who is Gwinn in Call of Duty League?
Isaiah "Gwinn" Gwinn is a professional CoD player from Carolina Royal Ravens in the Call of Duty League. On July 19, 2024, he was named Rookie of the Year for the CDL 2024 season. He ended the season with 1.07 Overall KD (1st), 1.01 LAN KD (2nd), 1.08 Online KD (1st), and 70.3% Cellium Index (1st).
Gwinn started his professional career in November 2023 after signing with Carolina Royal Ravens' main roster. He is joined by FeLo, TJHaly, and CDL veteran and three-time CDL champion, Clayster.
However, it's not the first time that Gwinn has entered the CDL stage. In February 2023, he joined Seattle Surge as a player substitute. He left the organization months later, in June 2023.
Carolina Royal Ravens did not have the best record for the season, with their highest placement at fifth-sixth in Major 2. At the end of Major 4, the team failed to secure enough points to qualify for the CDL Championship.
Despite their season result, Gwinn led the team in securing most of their wins, showing up in crucial situations. He remains a player to look out for in the next season.
Meanwhile, Simp from Atlanta FaZe was crowned season MVP for the Call of Duty League 2024.
