A new bug in Black Ops 6 Zombies is affecting player movement speed. This glitch, shortly after the Season 1 update, slows you down and makes the task of evading Zombies and navigating through the map difficult. Many fans are actually relieved that this issue has finally been exposed as it has proven to be more than just a gameplay hiccup.

Call of Duty’s official update page on X, @CODUpdates addressed the bug stating that they are investigating an issue where players are moving slower than intended when reloading while sprinting in Zombies.

This bug generally occurs when you try to reload your gun while sprinting, drastically reducing your movement speed, which makes it highly challenging to run away from Zombies, a key survival mechanic in this game mode. This has left players with workarounds like avoiding sprint-reloads entirely or trying to time their reloads during quieter moments.

Although a large part of the fanbase is frustrated with this issue, many see Treyarch’s acknowledgment of the bug as a spark of optimism believing this is a step forward for the overall development of Zombies mechanics. While the bug has been addressed only recently, many fans say it has been there for a while.

While Treyarch hasn't provided a timeline for resolving the issue, they have assured players that they’re investigating the issue and a possible announcement of the fix might arrive soon. Fans can be hopeful of a fix in the next patch, but for now, the developer’s acknowledgment is a consolation.
