It looks like Sledgehammer Games' team may bring the Cyber Attack mode in Modern Warfare 3 in the near future, according to the studio's response on Reddit. Since its release, MW3 has witnessed the introduction and comeback of many fan-favorite modes. Thus, it only makes sense for Cyber Attack to appear as well. However, there have been several obstacles in its implementation, according to the studio.

This article will discuss the latest update from Sledgehammer Games on Cyber Attack's return in Modern Warfare 3.

Sledgehammer Games reveals Cyber Attack mode is yet to get a release window for Modern Warfare 3

On Reddit, the studio was asked about adding Cyber Attack mode to Modern Warfare 3. In response to the question, the Sledgehammer Games team wrote that it has recently begun working on the mode but can't promise when it will be ready for release:

"Our team recently began working on bringing Cyber Attack to MWIII, but we can't promise it'll be ready soon enough for release - hence the lack of a response up to this point."

Interestingly, the studio also revealed that having Cyber Attack back for Modern Warfare 3 was never a plan in the first place. That's why it's been tough to fit into the development schedule. Sledgehammer Games will soon share a definitive answer on this mode.

For those unaware, Cyber Attack was originally seen in 2019's rebooted Modern Warfare game. Similar to Search and Destroy and Sabotage, this mode involves players retrieving an EMP device and planting it near the opponent's Data Center.

Also, players do not respawn in this Multiplayer mode. Instead, they can be revived by their teammates. A match of Cyber Attack runs for nine rounds, with the first team clinching five rounds claiming victory.

Cyber Attack was last seen in 2022's Modern Warfare 2 by Infinity Ward. It will be interesting to see when Sledgehammer's team will reveal the exact release date for this Multiplayer mode's return in MW3.
