A reputed industry insider has reportedly claimed that Modern Warfare 3 will finally be released on Xbox Game Pass as early as this month (July). The latest leak also suggests that Microsoft may share an official announcement later today in order to let the players know that they will get to enjoy the existing premium FPS installment on the subscription service soon.

Modern Warfare 3 to mark the debut of old Call of Duty games on Xbox Game Pass service

Reliable insider Tom Henderson recently shared a report on Insider Gaming while claiming that Activision's ongoing Call of Duty title Modern Warfare 3 will arrive on Game Pass in July 2024.

Per the report, Microsoft (the company owning Activision) could make an official announcement today (July 10) at some point. As of this writing, there's been no update from Microsoft regarding MW3's launch on the Game Pass subscription service.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games, MW3 has mostly received positive reactions so far since launch, thanks to the constant new content and exciting modes for Multiplayer as well as Warzone. Moreover, the game also consists of a unique Zombies mode which was introduced last year with MW3's global debut in early November.

Modern Warfare 3 is yet to see the end of its lifecycle. There are still two more seasonal updates left for the game. This means Game Pass users will have a lot to explore and enjoy if they actually get it for a monthly fee on the subscription service, ahead of 2024's new Call of Duty offering Black Ops 6.
