Modern Warfare 3 is announced for the Xbox Game Pass, making it the first-ever Call of Duty game to be a part of the Xbox gaming subscription service. Xbox has officially revealed a trailer and more details regarding the latest Call of Duty title's arrival.

When does Modern Warfare 3 come to Xbox Game Pass?
Officials have announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will come to Xbox Game Pass on July 24, 2024. This is the same day that Warzone and MW3 Season 5 will go live. Previously, the MW3 on Game Pass leaks also speculated that the game would arrive on the same day. Now, Xbox has officially announced:

Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass details
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be available on Game Pass for Console, PC, and Game Pass Ultimate starting July 24. Players will be able to access the multiplayer, campaign, and zombie modes if they have the Game Pass subscription.
Note that not all Game Pass subscriptions will allow players to experience the entirety of Modern Warfare 3. Those who have the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will have complete access to the full game.
However, players who have the Console Tier subscription can only access the campaign mode in Modern Warfare 3. If they want to play multiplayer and experience zombie mode, they'd be required to upgrade their subscription plan.
With Modern Warfare 3 being the first Call of Duty game ever to be a part of the Xbox Game Pass service, we can expect older ones to join in as well. Call of Duty's upcoming title, Black Ops 6, will also be available in the Xbox Gaming subscription service.
