MW3 is said to bring back a famous finisher from the OG MW2 campaign
@ModernWarzone, a page on X famous for their updates on Call of Duty games, recently tweeted that Modern Warfare 3 will bring back an iconic finisher move from the Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
The "Tactical Gasoline" finisher, in which General Shepherd pours gasoline on Ghost and sets him on fire, is expected to return in both MW3 and Warzone.
Viewed as one of the best games in the CoD franchise, the original MW2 game was released in 2009. The game's plot had a famous twist at the very end that has stuck with players worldwide.
The finisher move is based on one of the campaign's most memorable scenes: General Shepherd betraying Ghost and Roach. Shepherd brutally drowns the injured Ghost with gasoline and sets him on fire in a heartbreaking scene that has since become one of the most iconic moments in the entire series.
The finisher move is expected to be available in both MW3 and Warzone. With all said, players can look forward to reliving one of Call of Duty's most iconic moments, re-created in a new era.
