Select representatives of the US Olympic basketball team had the chance to play Call of Duty Black Ops 6 ahead of its release. Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns), and Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers) are among the first to play the game in early August 2024.

Meanwhile, fans are understandably jealous of the three, as they have to wait a few more weeks to get their hands on COD BO6.
Players who preordered the game on any platform can access the title as early as August 30, 2024, during the early access period. Meanwhile, the rest can join the open beta on September 4, 2024. Activision has dropped thousands of free codes during the CDL Championship, allowing players to access the title without having to pre-order.
COD BO6 will fully launch on October 25, 2024.
