BobbyPoff recently called out Activision for falsely banning him from Warzone and MW3. For those unaware, BobbyPoff is a popular Warzone content creator and has multiple Warzone champion titles to his name. However, things took an ugly turn as the content creator was permanently banned from the game earlier this month on October 4, 2024. The ban was due to no fault of his, and needless to say, BobbyPoff wasn't happy with the way Activision went about correcting it.

Read below to find out what exactly happened to BobbyPoff and his reaction to the entire fiasco.

BobbyPoff asks for a public apology from Activision for falsely banning him in Warzone and MW3

As mentioned earlier, at the peak of his content creation career, BobbyPoff was banned from Warzone and MW3. It was completely out of the blue and had the entire community in shock.

Although the ban was soon removed, his reputation had already taken a hit as he received a lot of backlash from the community, calling him just another cheater. Call of Duty via X, later revealed that there was an issue with the anti-cheat which led to false bans.

However, the damage had already been done in the two weeks leading up to this announcement, and BobbyPoff responded to Activision with the following statement on X:

"Public apology would go a long way. Imagine having your name drug through the mud for 2 weeks for something you never did and being offered 0 explanation. Oh wait that was ME the past 2 weeks!!!"

The content creator was certainly upset with how Activision decided to go about rectifying their mistake. He did not receive a single apology for all the damage that was done to him at the height of his popularity.

BobbyPoff also claimed that no one from Call of Duty approached him privately to apologize for the damage done to his reputation, revealing how the team failed to properly connect with their audience and address the issues.

That covers everything that you need to know about the latest controversies surrounding the popular Call of Duty content creator.
