Treyarch has officially confirmed to add one of the most requested features to Black Ops 6. Ever since the shooter was launched, fans rightfully pointed out that the game was missing the ability to track challenges or camos. Countless requests poured in from the community to add the feature. Fortunately for the fans, developers acknowledged their requests.
They have confirmed that the feature is currently in the works and although a date hasn't been officially stated, it should be arriving in the title with upcoming updates.
Treyarch will add the ability to track challenges in Black Ops 6
As stated earlier, Treyarch has confirmed that the ability to track challenges will return in Black Ops 6. Recently, Treyarch shared patch notes for the latest update (dated January 10, 2025) on X. Several community members chimed in for a discussion and changes that they would like to see with future updates for the game.
One of the users asked the developers to add a way to track challenges in the title. To this request, Treyarch responded that the feature is already being worked upon, thus confirming that it will be added to the game in a future update. That said, as we've discussed earlier, we do not know when this feature will arrive in-game.
Last seen in Modern Warfare 3 (2023), the ability to track in-game challenges was a widely appreciated feature. It allowed users to keep track of progressions for any challenge, be it camo or event-related tasks. This enabled them to head over into a match and check their progress live, as to how much they were progressing towards competition of those tracked challenges.
Finally, the feature will be making its way to Black Ops 6 now, allowing players to easily track multiple challenges. Currently, players can only track the daily in-game challenges in the game.
