Trusted insider @HeyImAlaix, who has a great track record in sharing accurate information on Call of Duty, recently shared a post on X. The account revealed that Black Ops 6 Zombies was playtested inside Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2.

To be precise, Treyarch reportedly tried to check the gameplay experience of round-based zombies for BO6. Eventually, the developers used Modern Warfare 2 as a test platform for this purpose. The testing was done directly through MW2 since it was the current CoD game at the time, according to the scooper.

According to rumors and leaks so far, BO6 is expected to have two round-based zombie maps upon its release. The first map is believed to be inspired by the state of West Virginia and might be called Liberty Falls.

The second map is rumored to be based on an island with a prison and might be known as Terminus Island. Additionally, one of these two maps is expected to be available during the early access period for BO6 Zombies later this year. The map will be a bonus content for players who pre-order the upcoming game.
