According to reliable Call of Duty leaker @BobNetworkUK_, the map's return is set to happen in Season 2 of Black Ops 6 but could potentially be pushed back as the development team struggles to meet internal deadlines.
Initial rumors suggested that Verdansk is going to be released as part of the Season 1 content for Black Ops 6. However, sources are now reporting that its launch will be pushed back to the game's mid-life cycle instead.
More about Warzone leak claiming Verdansk remake is delayed again
Reliable Call of Duty content leaker, @BobNetworkUK_, recently reported that the Verdansk remake for Warzone is getting delayed once more.
The insider posted a tweet on X that said:
"The return of Verdansk is currently set for Season 2 of BO6/Warzone, but could be pushed back further as Raven Software are reportedly behind on their project deadlines."
While this isn't confirmed news just yet, with the accuracy of previous information from @BobNetworkUK_, this situation is highly likely.
Verdansk is the original map that came with Warzone when it was first released in March 2020. It quickly became a fan-favorite, but it was removed in April 2021 to give way to new maps like Caldera. However, the latter did not gain the same prominence as its predecessor, and fans are looking forward to seeing the OG map again in Black Ops 6.
Leakers initially claimed that the Verdansk remake is launching in Season 1 of Black Ops 6, but it was reportedly pushed back for an early 2025 release. Now, fans might have to wait a little longer as Raven Software struggles to meet the deadline for the project.
