Call of Duty: Warzone has finally added Plunder to the game. While Raven Software announced this week's playlist yesterday, there was no mention of the return of this fan-favorite mode. Previously, Activision removed Plunder from Warzone, and the community has been clamoring for the mode's return ever since. It seems like the developers have finally listened to fans, and the mode is now back in Warzone.
Read on to learn more about plunder in Warzone.
What is Plunder in Warzone?
If you are a Warzone veteran, you'd surely know that the Plunder is one of the most popular modes in the CoD battle royale. The mode's rules are pretty simple. You need to grab cash in-game, and the first team to reach $1 million wins. Furthermore, Plunder has unlimited respawns for all players. Hence, you don't need to worry about getting killed in gunfights.
The Plunder has always been popular in Warzone because this mode is one of the easiest ways for you to level up your weapons and XP if you don't own the multiplayer. Furthermore, you can also practice your skills against real enemies before you hop onto the intense battle royale experience.
However, Raven Software removed Plunder from Warzone months ago, and they did not give any specific reason for its removal. Warzone's playlist for the week went live yesterday, and fans were anticipating that the developers would finally add this mode.
However, there was initially no mention of Plunder in the recent playlist. Today, on their official X handle, Raven Software announced that they have added Plunder back in Warzone, and we can hope that it stays in the game for a while.
