Call of Duty Warzone developers have notified us that they are consolidating the current playlist starting September 26, 2024. Additionally, on their official X handle, Raven Software stated that due to preparations for Warzone and the Black Ops 6 launch, the Warzone playlist will be reduced to specific sections. The developers have also revealed that the current Warzone playlist will be there till October 17, 2024, which is the end of Season 6.

If you are wondering what the Warzone playlist will be from now on, read below.

Warzone devs have revealed the official playlist till the end of Season 6

On their official X handle, Raven Software revealed that these two modes will be the playlist selections till October 17, 2024:

  • Battle Royale Solos & Quads
  • Resurgence Duos & Quads

Furthermore, they stated that all the active Limited-Time modes, Plunder, and Bootcamp will be available, but Battle Royale Duos, Trios, Resurgence Solos, and Trios will not be there till the end of Season 6.

Raven Software was criticized for not updating the Warzone weekly playlist last week. Similarly, the community did not take the latest update well. Popular content creator JGOD commented:

"There is no way, hahahaha."

Another content creator, Westie, stated:

"This might be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen. You’re essentially sunsetting core branches of your game and giving no real explanation at the time the change is being made. Some added context/information would be wonderful."

Judging by the majority of comments on social media, the CoD community is unhappy with the decision. But to players' satisfaction, Plunder is set to return after being removed from the game some time ago. With the limited options in the Battle Royale and Resurgence, Warzone players will likely have a hard time till the release of Black Ops 6 and the next integration.

What do you think about the decision by Raven Software? Let us know in the comment section.
