The Double XP event in Warzone, which began on December 25, 2024, has left many players disappointed. Despite getting many kills, several players have reported that they are not receiving the event's double XP benefits. Each season, Activision releases a Double XP event to help players level up their accounts and earn in-game perks. However, this time around, many have been experiencing issues that result in fewer XP gains even after spending hours in the title.
This article covers the ongoing issue players are facing with the Double XP event in Warzone.
Warzone players are frustrated as they are not receiving benefits in the Double XP event
Much of the Call of Duty community is frustrated with the ongoing XP event issue. This was reflected in a recent X post by @ModernWarzone, where they stated that several players reported this issue. In the same post, many players commented and expressed their concerns regarding the same.
According to them, despite securing massive kills in the game, they are getting less XP, which eventually impedes their in-game progression. This problem is happening in all modes, including Zombies and Multiplayer. Notably, this is not the first time players have faced such issues. In previous Double XP events, many players who secured massive kills gained only double-digit XP in a match.

Interestingly, in the same X post, a few players commented on receiving 1.5x XP instead of 2x XP in a single match. However, it is not yet confirmed whether this is a bug or any technical glitch. Players are eagerly waiting for the official updates so that they can enjoy the limited-time event.
