The introduction of DNA Bomb in Modern Warfare 3 hasn't gone down well with the fans. Since its initial reveal in Season 4, most players have found it irrelevant as opposed to the traditional Nuke system, and this sentiment was recently witnessed when many players expressed their frustration regarding the matter on social media.

A Reddit user named u/berserkerlord07 shared their disappointment over DNA Bomb and its purpose in the Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer experience.

They wanted to convey that the new Killstreak doesn't do much other than eliminate some members of an enemy team compared to the Nuke, which enables a team to not only wipe out the opponents but also win the match in no time. Here's what the Redditor had to say:

"The DNA Bomb has ruined the concept of the nuke."

Seems like other users are also in agreement with the original poster as one individual, known as u/Kippers1998, wrote that developers should have given an option to select between the Nuke or DNA Bomb instead of replacing the Nuke completely.

Meanwhile, another Redditor named u/wetmeatlol also expressed a similar sentiment. They wrote that the DNA Bomb is useless as a killstreak reward, as it inflicts no major impact on the outcome of a match.

One user, known as u/Youre-Punny, wrote that previous killstreaks like M.O.A.B used to wipe out the enemy team while also granting extra XP. But that's not the case with DNA Bomb.

One Redditor, known as u/DanHarkinz, shared a similar feeling but they mentioned that alongside DNA Bomb, the developers should have kept the MGB as well to let players end the match in one go.

Interestingly, one user, u/INeedANerf, pointed out that using DNA Bombs doesn't feel like a huge differentiator. According to them, deploying this killstreak feels a bit unceremonious compared to the Nuke and how it used to begin a countdown before eliminating the enemies.

Lastly, user u/DeminoTheDragon mentioned that using the Nuke was like proving a point to the opponents that one player can single-handedly end a match by earning an extremely powerful killstreak. However, that's not the case with the DNA Bomb in Modern Warfare 3.

DNA Bomb in Modern Warfare 3 seems to be of no use

All things considered, it looks like many players believe that the previous system of earning a Nuke after getting 30 kills was a better option than getting DNA Bomb for 25 kills. This is simply because it has no key impact in giving the player or their team an edge over the opponents.

Hopefully, the developers will tweak the DNA Bomb and make it a worthy killstreak in Multiplayer games. Otherwise, they can bring back the Nuke system with a future update.
