It looks like Treyarch's Black Ops 6 Zombies will not bring back a popular perk from past installments like World at War, Black Ops 1, and a few other Call of Duty games, according to a reliable insider's prediction. This Perk-a-Cola is Double Tap which was previously seen in Treyarch's old titles featuring Zombies modes. However, the developer may not reintroduce it this time.

This article will mention the key details players need to know about Black Ops 6 Zombies and the Double Tap Perk-a-Cola.

Note: Players are advised to take early speculations, rumors, and leaks with a grain of salt.

Double Tap Perk-a-Cola is not likely to return with Black Ops 6 Zombies

Trusted CoD expert @awesumzombiefac on X recently shared a post in which the account mentioned that Double Tap might not return in Black Ops 6 Zombies this year.

Interestingly, Double Tap happens to be one of those perks to make the least amount of comebacks. It's been featured in just four Call of Duty games so far, namely World at War, Black Ops 1, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops 3. Since the last decade, the Perk-a-Cola has been absent from Black Ops titles like BO4 and Black Ops Cold War.

For those unaware, Double Tap Root Beer is a Perk-a-Cola in CoD Zombies modes that increases the rate of fire by 33% while also increasing the recoil rate by the same amount because the weapons have less time to settle between shots. It also ends up boosting the bullet damage.

Additionally, this Perk-a-Cola also helps in laying down equipment like Claymores faster. With it being enabled, players can operate bolt-action rifles, pump-action shotguns, and certain Wonder Weapons a lot quicker. Double Tap costs 2,000 points to acquire based on its iteration in previous games.

While the latest rumor suggests Black Ops 6 won't likely reintroduce this perk, it will be interesting to see if the developers will share an official update on it going forward.
