Black Ops 6 Zombies is rumored to witness the return of a popular feature seen in Treyarch's Black Ops Cold War game four years ago, according to a reliable insider. This expected feature is Salvage. The rumor is based on the recent teaser trailer for BO6 that was showcased during the game's deep-dive session on June 9.

Salvage is rumored to return in Black Ops 6 Zombies

According to reliable CoD lore expert and scooper @MargwaNetwork, Salvage is expected to make an appearance this year with Black Ops 6 Zombies. The feature was first seen in Black Ops Cold War and then in Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies. Salvage was seemingly spotted in the recent BO6 Zombies teaser, highlighted by a green color, in a brief sequence. It can be seen in the image below.

Salvage was a part of the extended system of Buildables in 2020's Black Ops Cold War and was available to use for creating armor, repairing armor, upgrading weapon levels, and crafting items.

In Cold War Zombies and Vanguard Zombies, players would gain Salvage by killing enemies. In Cold War, the game had two forms of this feature: Rare High-Grade Salvage and Uncommon Salvage. Taking down enemies resulted in getting either form of Salvage. Meanwhile, Vanguard only consisted of uncommon Salvage.

For now, everything should be taken with a grain of salt until Treyarch shares a proper update on the arrival of Salvage in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

BO6 Zombies is set to release this fall with a grand return of the round-based zombies experience. It will introduce two new maps called Liberty Falls and Terminus.
