Call of Duty will reportedly introduce a new feature in Black Ops 6 which will help players master the new Omnimovement system. According to a recent leak shared by @CallofDutyComms on X, BO6 will feature a Training Course, which will teach players all the basics of the gameplay, including the new Omnimovement feature in the upcoming CoD game.
Black Ops 6 to reportedly feature a Training Course for Omnimovement
@CallofDutyComms on X recently shared a clip of the upcoming Training Course in Black Ops 6 that will reportedly help users learn Omnimovement. In the short clip, a player can be seen in the Training Course completing various courses such as the basics of Omnimovement, 180-degree Combat Dive Drill, Combat Supine Deal, and Combat Slide and Dive Drill.
As of this writing, it is known that this Training Course will be present in the game's Multiplayer mode only.
In the clip, Frank Woods seems to be the announcer, training the player with all the new movement mechanisms. Usually, most modern Call of Duty games don't have such a Training Course and instead, players are taught the basics within the campaign. That said, in BO6, things are seemingly about to change. In this Training Course, players will be able to practice with fake targets to master all the new movement techniques.
Currently, the Call of Duty games features a simple Firing Range, that allows them to test out their new loadouts or weapons. However, there are no training ranges as such that allow them to practice movement. The original Warzone (2020) had a practice range as a tutorial for newcomers but that's it.
None of the modern Call of Duty titles focused on teaching newcomers the basics of the various movement techniques and left it to the players to learn on their own.
Considering that Black Ops 6 is going big with movement, it is only a rational decision by the developers to include this feature in the game. This will allow all the newcomers as well as veterans of the series to familiarize themselves with all the fresh gameplay features.
