A brand new Warzone map named "Avalon" got leaked recently, and we had footage of an early build of the map on the internet. However, popular Call of Duty news account @CODWarfareForum has recently notified that the leaked map might not be a Warzone map initially and there is a high chance of it being the large-scale Outbreak map in CoD 2025.
Read on to learn more about the leaked Warzone map Avalon.
Leaked Warzone map Avalon might also be the next big outbreak map in CoD 2025
According to several insiders, the leaked Warzone map Avalon might come to the CoD battle royale later, and before that, the map will be added to the next Call of Duty in 2025.
The previously leaked footage showcased an aerial overview of the map which is codenamed "Avalon." The footage showed an earlier version which was still in development. The map features some of the classic Black Ops multiplayer maps as POIs as well. Hence, it might not be surprising if Activision decides to add the map in the rumored Outbreak mode in the upcoming Call of Duty title.
Call of Duty introduced the Outbreak mode in Black Ops Cold War. The mode was the first large-scale Zombies experience in the history of Call of Duty. It mostly took place in the Ural Mountains and that unlocked a new fear in the CoD fanbase.
Before Warzone 2 was released, there were several rumors about the Ural Mountains being the next Warzone map just like the Avalon now. However, it never came true, and fans have found several indications in the Outbreak map that the plans were there but it never became a reality.
Hence, the rumor of Avalon coming to Warzone and the map also being an Outbreak map has made CoD fans thinking that it might not come to the battle royale at all. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
