The Rampage Inducer from Black Ops Cold War may be coming back with Black Ops 6 Zombies in 2024, according to a latest rumor. Treyarch recently offered a Zombies teaser for the upcoming game. While it did not show much, it looks like the studio may have already confirmed numerous features, including Rampage Inducer, for BO6 Zombies mode.

This article will dive a little deeper into the recent rumor surrounding the comeback of the Rampage Inducer in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Note: Players are advised to take early rumors and leaks with a grain of salt unless theres's an official confirmation from developers.

Black Ops 6 Zombies rumored to bring back Rampage Inducer from Black Ops Cold War

Popular YouTuber and gamer @GregFPS on X recently shared a post based on his observation of Black Ops 6 Zombies teaser shown during the Xbox Showcase on June 9. According to Greg, it seems that the Rampage Inducer might return this year. This was after he noticed an orange canister attached to an Operator during a very brief moment in the teaser clip.

For those unaware, the Rampage Inducer was last seen in 2020's Black Ops Cold War Zombies. The game introduced it during Season 5 Reloaded in September 2021.

In Cold War's round-based Zombies maps, the Rampage Inducer was an orange Essence canister that was available at the start of a match. It required all players to vote to enable it during a game.

When enabled, the Rampage Inducer used to increase the spawn rate and movement speed of zombies through Round 20.

In simple words, the feature was revealed to offer an even intense gameplay for advanced players who wanted a higher level of challenge while going against hordes of the undead. Similar to how it's activated, all players have to vote to turn it off in case they don't want it enabled. When left unused, the Essence canister ends up exploding after Round 20.

It will be interesting to see if Treyarch's team will officially announce the Rampage Inducer's return for Black Ops 6 Zombies ahead of release, if does end up being a part of the game. For now, everything should be taken with a grain of salt.
