If you have been following Warzone since the beginning, then you'd definitely know that the tile had a map called Ural Mountains, which was supposed to be released with Black Ops: Cold Wars. There were several leaks, rumors, and assets that data miners revealed regarding the map. However, it never became a reality, and we only saw snippets of it in the Outbreak mode of Black Ops Cold War.
Now, according to several sources, the Ural Mountains map is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile as the next big battle royale map, called Krai. Moreover, fans have found several uncanny resemblances between the scrapped Warzone map and the upcoming COD Mobile one.
Read on to learn more about the scrapped Warzone map and how it is coming to COD Mobile next month.

COD Mobile's Krai is reportedly the scrapped Warzone Ural Mountains map
While Activision never revealed anything officially, there were several rumors that Ural Mountains would be the Blackout 2 map in Call of Duty. However, with Warzone's success, Activision canceled the idea of releasing a new Blackout. Later, it was leaked that the same map would come to Warzone, but that never happened, leaving Call of Duty fans extremely disappointed.
Yesterday, COD Mobile released a trailer for the upcoming battle royale map Krai. From the first look of the trailer, fans have found similar POIs to the leaked images and videos of the Ural Mountains map. Three of the biggest similarities are the Zoo (Safari Land and Animal Play Park), Golova (Tranquility Parish), and the Sanatorium POIs since they look almost similar to the datamined images and videos of the scrapped Warzone map.
COD Mobile's Krai will be released on November 11, 2024. If you have heard of the Ural Mountains map, and like a lot of Call of Duty enthusiasts were waiting for it to arrive in Warzone, you still have a chance to play it. The Krai map will also feature other brand-new POIs that have no relation to the scrapped map. Hence, it will be a good blend of something fresh in COD Mobile after almost three years of the game having no new big battle royale maps.
