Durendal, The Stag of the Storms Sword is one of four elemental variants of the new Wonder Weapon introduced in Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 1 Reloaded. Initially, these swords are simple Bastard Swords that players must upgrade or transform into their elemental forms by following specific procedures. The Stag of the Storms is the electric/storm variant of the Bastard Sword.

This guide explains how to acquire the Bastard Sword from the Stag Knight and transform it into the Durendal, Stag of the Storms in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How to obtain the Stag of the Storms Sword (Durendal) in Black Ops 6 Zombies Citadelle des Morts

To obtain the Durendal, Stag of the Storms Sword, you must begin the main easter egg quest.

Access the Castle

Head to the Castle entrance and use the nearby cannon to break through. Inside, it's recommended to unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine to handle powerful zombies. Follow the markers to a large locked box and shoot its three locks. This will release a Doppleghast zombie. Eliminate it to obtain a Blood Aetherium Crystal. Place the crystal into the glowing red vortex inside the box to activate the Pack-a-Punch machine.

Reach the Dining Area

Clear zombies and locate the room with the Quick Revive Perk-a-Cola machine. Open the locked door inside to access the Dining Area.

Obtain the Bastard Sword

Survive until at least Round 10, when a unique zombie wearing a bucket will spawn. Eliminate it to collect a Stamp. Return to the Dining Area and interact with the knight statue bearing a deer emblem on its chest to receive the Bastard Sword.

Transform the Bastard Sword into the Stag of the Storms Sword

To do this, you must collect three Lightning Rods:

First Rod: Equip the Dead Wire Ammo Mod and head to the Upper Village (G5 map coordinate). Look for an antenna with an electric box connected to it. Shoot the box to drop a Lightning Rod.

Second Rod: Go to the Deadshot Daiquiri Perk-a-Cola machine. To its left, near some wooden boxes, you’ll find a Lightning Rod.

Third Rod: This will drop randomly from zombies after picking up the Bastard Sword. Keep eliminating zombies with the Sword until it drops.

Here are the steps to transform the Bastard Sword into the Durendal, Stag of the Storms Sword:

Take the three Lightning Rods to the Hillside Ramparts, near the Elemental Pop Perk-a-Cola machine.
Interact with the cauldron to place them.
Stay near the cauldron and eliminate zombies until the sword becomes electrified.
Strike the cauldron with it and repeat it three times.
Finally, place the sword in the cauldron to complete the transformation into the Stag of the Storms Sword.
