The viral "Unicorn fart" Finishing Move, known as Refraction Action, might eventually be removed from Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The recent patch dated January 3, 2025, brought in a plethora of changes, mostly bug fixes, tweaks, and playlist updates.
However, the fans were quick to point out that the patch notes didn't discuss one particular update.
@WarzoneCenter on X, noted the changes to the Finishing Move and tweeted out the following:
"Treyarch changed the unicorn fart finishing move in Black Ops 6."
The Refraction Action Finishing Move, when previewed, no longer plays the "fart" Finishing Move, where the player uses a Unicorn's farts to annihilate the opponent. Instead, the preview animation has been switched to the Operators just throwing their enemy on the horn of the Unicorn.
Read on to learn about the recent update and how it can potentially lead to the removal of the Finishing Move from Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
Update: Developers have confirmed that the Finishing Move will remain in the games.

For those unaware, Call of Duty released a bundle called the Brightmare Mastercraft on December 26, 2024, with one of its major highlights being its Finishing Move.
Players weren't excited about the Operator skin or the Weapon Blueprints featured in the bundle; rather, the anticipation was for the unique and ridiculous Finishing Move. However, after the recent update, users are reporting that the preview of the "fart" Finishing Move has been changed.

As of this writing (January 5, 2025), fans have reported that the OG Finishing Move, i.e., Refraction Action, still played out the "Unicorn fart" Finishing Move. But when inspecting the bundle in the game, it showed an updated version of it, where the opponent is picked up by the player and thrown on top of the horn of a Unicorn, killing them.
Although this wasn't officially stated in the patch notes, the changes did show up in the games. This could suggest a complete removal of the move from Call of Duty games down the road, ridiculous as that may sound.
However, if that is the case, Activision might get into trouble, as this involves removing items that fans recently paid for. Hence, the alternate possibility is that future purchases of the bundle may not have the "Unicorn fart" Finishing Move to begin with — it might get replaced with the new one as seen in the previews currently.
That covers everything to know about the possible removal of the "Unicorn fart" Finishing Move from Warzone and Black Ops 6.
