The Vortex: Death's Lair is a new event in MW3 and Warzone, which went live on July 10, 2024, at 10 am PT. Like other events, this one requires you to complete specific challenges to earn exclusive rewards. It includes ten bonuses in total, with the ultimate one being the Press 'F' weapon blueprint for the SVA 545 assault rifle.

How to unlock the rewards in the MW3 and Warzone Vortex: Death's Lair event

To unlock each reward in the Vortex: Death's Lair event, you must complete a challenge. This can be done in MW3 Multiplayer, MW3 Zombies, and/or Warzone. You can just select your preferred title and complete its associated task.

Additionally, you can change the game mode while attempting to get the bonuses. For example, you can complete the MW3 Multiplayer task to get the first reward and do the Warzone or MW3 Zombies task for the second bonus.

Double XP Token (Event Challenge 1)

Tasks

MW3: Get 10 Operator multikills
MWZ: Kill 2 enemies with a single shot 10 times
Warzone: In Warzone Battle Royale, get 3 Operator kills using assault rifles

Can't Die, Must Party Emblem (Event Challenge 2)

Tasks

MW3: Get 40 Operator kills with a suppressed weapon and the hijacked IFF Strobe perk equipped
MWZ: Get 75 kills with a melee weapon while Aether Shroud is active
Warzone: In Warzone Battle Royale, get 3 Operator kills using SMGs

Death at High Noon Charm (Event Challenge 3)

Tasks

MW3: Get 5 Operator kills with an extreme magnification scope equipped on a sniper
MWZ: Get 200 critical kills with a scoped sniper
Warzone: In Warzone Battle Royale, complete 2 Bounty contracts

MW3: Get 5 Operator double kills with a launcher
MWZ: Kill 15 Mimics
Warzone: In Warzone Plunder, get 5 Operator kills using sniper rifles

MWZ: Get 200 critical kills with a silenced SMG

MW3: Get 3 Operator 1 shot 1 kill with a shotgun in 1 life 5 times

Warzone: In Warzone Battle Royale, complete 2 Most Wanted contracts

MW3: Perform 10 Operator executions
MWZ: Get 10 consecutive kills without taking damage 10 times with a melee weapon
Warzone: In Warzone Resurgence, get 3 Operator kills using battle rifles

MW3: Get 25 Operator kills with throwing knives or melee weapons
MWZ: Get 120 zombie kills with throwing knives
Warzone: In Warzone Resurgence, get 3 Operator kills using LMGs

MW3: Spot 20 Operators with the Tactical Camera or Recon Drone Field Upgrade
MWZ: Get 200 kills with Jugger-Nog active
Warzone: In Warzone Resurgencem complete 1 Big Game Bounty contract
