Warzone Mobile Season 5: Release date, new maps, modes, and more

Warzone Mobile Season 5 is almost upon us, promising a slew of content for mobile gamers. Players can look forward to new Multiplayer maps and modes, Verdansk map updates, fresh weekly events, and Operator bundles and packs in the upcoming season. The shared Battle Pass system will allow players to access Season 5 rewards unlocked on PC and console platforms. The new season will roll out on July 24, 2024, at 9 am PT.

What to expect in Warzone Mobile Season 5

Warzone Mobile Season 5 will offer a plethora of new content for players of the mobile Call of Duty. From new multiplayer maps to battle royale updates, there is something in store for all types of game modes.

In the multiplayer mode, players will finally get the Meat map from Modern Warfare 3, a 6v6, small-sized map that resembles a slaughterhouse. The map features tight lanes, multiple entryways, and a small meat locker at the center. With its tiny size, expect intense close to mid-range combats.

In battle royale, Verdansk will receive multiple updates including new points of interest. A new POI called Zoo will rise in the empty area of the Downtown Park. A Train Wreck POI will also be added by the roadside, adding cargo trains that make the perfect hiding spots.

Snipers also get new vantage points with the upcoming Construction Site POI situated atop a building in Downtown. Meanwhile, the Cliffside Base and Government Building will be added near the Dam, containing high-quality loot.

New modes and features are also coming to the game, including the Frontline mode for multiplayer and Practice Zone for Battle Royale.

Warzone Mobile Season 5 will also feature new events where players can get free rewards:

The Zoo Event (July 26 – July 31)
WWE SummerSlam Event (August 1 – August 7)
Train Wreck Event (August 8 – August 14)
The Final Round (Part 1) Event (August 15 – August 18)
The Final Round (Part 2) Event (August 19 – August 21)

Finally, Warzone Mobile's Keep will get new premium cosmetics on a weekly basis. During the first part of the season, Thick Skin, Etheral Echoes, Mad Masque, and Voidlink will be available in the Keep.

Warzone Mobile Season 5 launches on July 24, 2024, on iOS and Android.
