The Call of Duty community is eagerly anticipating the release of the long-awaited Warzone and MW3 Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass, which is scheduled to arrive on July 24, 2024, at 9 am PT. The update will roll out simultaneously worldwide. First introduced in Modern Warfare 2, this exclusive and premium version of the Battle Pass offers high-tier items and rewards like Operator skins, weapon blueprints, and COD Points (in-game currency) among other BlackCell rewards.
The article will detail all the exclusive rewards and items available in the Warzone and MW3 Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass, and assess whether it's worth the price.
What is the price of Warzone and MW3 Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass?
The Warzone and MW3 Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass comes with a price tag of $29.99, which is similar to the previous seasons. Like the regular Battle Pass, acquiring the BlackCell version enables cross-title progress tracking across Modern Warfare 3 (MW3), Warzone, and the upcoming Warzone Mobile.
It is important to note that COD Points earned in specific Battle Pass tiers will only be accessible on the device or platform where they were unlocked, such as Console, PC, or Mobile.
To illustrate, if you use the same Activision account for both Warzone PC and Warzone Mobile, any COD Points earned in Warzone Mobile won't be usable in Warzone PC.
The customizations however are released via a cross-progression system and players will be able to use all of them in any of the aforementioned titles.

Is Warzone and MW3 Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass worth buying?
The Warzone and MW3 Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass is priced significantly higher than the standard Pass, but its premium features warrant the cost. It offers an immediate 1,100 COD Points and 20 additional Battle Token Tier Skips, enabling immediate unlocking of rewards.
The BlackCell Battle Pass includes the new Reckoner skin, along with a new finisher, Inquisitor tracers, and the Divine Enforcement death effect. While it offers great value for collectors, the high cost might deter some players as these items provide no real tactical advantage in the game, only visual appeal.
