Call of Duty players are still not free from foul-play in Warzone and a recent incident has reinstated this situation for devs to look at. The latest case is of a player who posted on Reddit, stating more cheaters have reportedly begun using unacceptable means to win inside the Ranked Mode — a competitive experience of the battle royale title.

Redditor u/fedoralex recently dropped a post mentioning that they encountered a cheater in Warzone's ranked mode during an online game. Emphasizing their disappointment with the increased activity of cheaters in recent months, they stated:

"Am I the only one running into insane amounts of cheaters on ranked?"

The Redditor shared a gameplay clip where they were spectating an alleged cheater who can be seen using some kind of aim bot method to take down two targets.

The player secured kills by reportedly using the aim bot and ended up winning the match. Eventually, this made u/fedoralex frustrated as such instances have escalated in the ranked mode lately.

Other users also seemed to agree with the original poster that cheaters are ruining Warzone lately.

Warzone Ranked isn't safe from cheaters, according to players

It appears that the developing team will have to impose stricter measures to ensure Warzone's experience is free of hackers and cheaters. While the Ricochet Anti-Cheat system has been implemented for a long time, it doesn't seem to be enough. That's why cheaters are still present in the game in large numbers as they have managed to overcome anti-cheat tools.

It will be interesting to see whether Call of Duty's team will take bigger action to curb players utilizing unacceptable means to win games.
