The latest Warzone playlist update (December 19, 2024 - January 3, 2025) is now live, introducing a new limited-time mode as part of Archie's Festival Frenzy event. This replaces the previous limited-time mode, Holiday Rush, which was exclusive to the Area 99 Resurgence map. Aside from this new addition, the playlist remains unchanged from the previous update.

The current playlist update went live on December 19, 2024, at 10 am PT, and will last 15 days, ending on January 3, 2025, when a new playlist with further changes will be introduced.

This week's playlist update introduces one key change: replacing the Holiday Rush limited-time mode with Slay Ride Resurgence. This festive mode aligns with the holiday spirit, featuring Christmas-themed map decorations, vibrant visuals, and engaging gameplay elements.

The mode's objective remains straightforward — survive and be the last team standing. However, some new in-game events add a twist, including battling for control of Santa’s hijacked slay ride, tossing lethal snowballs, capturing Christmas trees, and hunting reindeer.

Aside from this new mode, the playlist remains unchanged. Resurgence is available for all squad options with a map rotation between Rebirth Island and Area 99, while dedicated Resurgence Quads is available on both maps.

Battle Royale on Urzikstan supports all squad sizes, and Plunder remains accessible in Quads. Ranked Play is also active, although it has faced backlash due to cheating issues. Developers are actively working on countermeasures to address these exploits.
