The Warzone playlist update (July 11-17) is currently ongoing. Raven Software, one of the developers of the title, updates the playlist weekly to keep the gameplay experience fresh and engaging. This week's playlist update is significant, introducing a brand-new mode alongside other minor changes.
The current Warzone playlist was refreshed on July 11, 2024, at 10 am PT and will be available until July 17, 2024, after which it will reset again. In this article, we will cover the latest Call of Duty Warzone playlist (July 11-17) and list the modes available this week.
Warzone playlist update (July 11-17): All available maps and modes
In the Warzone playlist update for July 11-17, the limited-time mode Mutation Buy Back Quads has been added. Season 4 Reloaded planned the release of two new modes: Mutation Resurgence Quads and Mutation Buy Back Quads. The former was added when the mid-season update went live and was available for two weeks. Now, it has been removed and replaced by Mutation Buy Back Quads.
Here is the list of all the modes available in this week's playlist update:
- Mutation Buy Back (Quads) - Urzikstan Popov Power Plant POI
- Ranked Play (Trios) - Rebirth Island
- Lockdown (Quads) - Rebirth Island
- Battle Royale (Solos, Duos, Quads) - Urzikstan
- Resurgence (Solos, Duos, Trios) - Map Rotation
- Resurgence (Quads) - Rebirth Island
This playlist update reflects four main changes: the replacement of Mutation Resurgence with Mutation Buy Back, the removal of Plunder, the elimination of trios in Battle Royale for Urzikstan, and the addition of trios in Resurgence Map Rotation.
Mutation Resurgence was widely popular, and Mutation Buy Back is expected to follow the same path due to its similar concept. In this mode, players do not respawn automatically but must use the required amount of cash to buy themselves or their teammates back into the match.
