The Warzone playlist update (November 18-21, 2024) is the second such release since WZ's integration with Black Ops 6. It has introduced the Rebirth Island map and expanded the Resurgence mode, which now includes two maps: Rebirth Island and Area 99.

The playlist refresh occurred on November 18, 2024, at 10 am PT and will last four days, concluding on November 21. According to the patch notes, the next update will retain the current maps and modes without any changes.

This article provides details about the content available in the Warzone playlist update (November 18-21, 2024).

Disclaimer: The developers have removed Rebirth Island from the playlist due to an unspecified issue. The map is currently under investigation.

Till November 21, 2024, all the modes and other content from the previous playlist update will remain available. Players can enjoy both Battle Royale and Resurgence on the Area 99 map with all the squad options — Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads — as well as Plunder, which is restricted to Quads. The only new inclusion is Rebirth Island in Resurgence, and this map is also limited to Quads.

No new content is expected in the next two playlist updates, as the patch notes for the November 18 refresh confirm that the WZ playlist will remain unchanged until December 5, 2024. Ranked Play for Warzone will be launched only as part of the mid-season update, and the developers have no plans to release a limited-time mode during this period.

Despite the lack of new modes, the introduction of the omnimovement mechanic, body shield feature, and new weapons from Black Ops 6 has brought fresh gameplay opportunities to WZ. These changes should encourage players to explore new strategies to dominate the battlefield.

That covers everything there is to know about the current Warzone playlist update (November 18-21, 2024). For those wondering about new modes, no specific information has been divulged for anything other than Ranked Play.

That said, mid-season updates typically introduce exciting limited-time modes to refresh the gaming experience and keep players engaged. Considering this, gamers can remain hopeful that the upcoming one will bring such content.

As for, Ranked Play, the developers have confirmed that it will arrive earlier this season than ever before.
