Following the Black Ops 6 integration, Warzone Ranked Play has received a lot of changes to its ranking system. Skill Divisions, as we knew it, have been removed completely from the game. Instead, Ranks and Skill Divisions (along with the Tiers) have been merged into a single metric now called Ranks. This is determined solely by the SR or Skill Rating.
To put it simply, the previous concept of Ranks, which used to go from 1 to 50, has been removed and Ranks now represent one's Skill Division, which is, again, based on one's Skill Rating.
In this article, we will take a closer look at the updated ranking system in Warzone Ranked Play, including all the Ranks, how the SR system works, and everything in between.
All Ranks and SR requirements in Warzone Ranked Play
As discussed earlier, Ranks are based on SR (Skill Rating) in Warzone Ranked Play. Given below is a table that encompasses all the Ranks and the SR required to reach them:
Now that you know the Skill Rating (SR) required to reach a certain Rank, let us dive deeper into the SR system in Warzone Ranked Play and understand how it works.

How does the SR system work in Warzone Ranked Play?
SR or Skill Rating in Warzone Ranked Play, is primarily dependent on two metrics — eliminations and match placement. While the basics of earning SR for match placements have remained unchanged, a couple of tweaks have been made to how SR is awarded to a player for eliminations.
Before we dive into the elimination SR system, let's take a quick look at the match placement SR:
Now, comes the updated SR system for eliminations. In this new system, SR isn't awarded simply based on the number of kills you have.
Skill Rating will now differ per elimination, depending on the Rank of the player you have eliminated. For instance, you'll earn more SR for eliminating a player ranked higher than you, than you will for taking out one of your Rank. This new system is called Elimination Delta, and it takes into account Ranks that are three less than yours (-3), and up to three more than yours (+3).
Here's how the elimination Skill Rating is distributed based on Elimination Delta:
Let's understand this with an example. If you are ranked Platinum and the enemy you just killed is ranked Silver, your Elimination Delta in this case will be -2. In this case, you'll earn only 4 SR. On the other hand, let's assume you took out a player that is ranked Iridescent. In this scenario, the Delta is +3, and you will earn 10 SR for that kill.
That said, there's a limit to the maximum elimination SR you can earn per match. It has been set at 150 SR. This is done to prevent cheaters from earning a ton of SR by simply raking up kills in the game.
We've discussed all the Ranks and SR systems in WZ Ranked play. That said, one major aspect remains to be explored: Deployment Fees. To learn more about it, check out the section below.
What are Deployment Fees in Warzone Ranked Play?
Simply put, Deployment Fees act as an entry fee, that you must pay to be able to play a match of Warzone Ranked Play. They are measured in SR. Hence, every time you play a Ranked match, you end up putting a little amount of your SR on the line. However, this amount isn't the same for all players and is dependent on the Rank.
Provided below is a table containing the Deployment Fees (SR) for all Ranks:
