The Reclaimer 18 Shotgun in Warzone has been disabled owing to a game-breaking bug. What makes the case even more intriguing is that the bug has been in the title for nearly two months. Developers as well as a vast majority of players were unaware of the Reclaimer 18 bug until now. However, at the end of the day, they caught wind of the issue and decided to remove it from the game quickly to prevent further damage.
Read below to learn more about the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun bug in Warzone and why it was removed.
Why was the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun removed from Warzone?
As discussed earlier, the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun in Warzone has been removed from the game until further notice. The official tweet confirming its removal did not mention the reasons for this move. This naturally left a whole lot of fans quite confused.
For those new to the series, the Reclaimer 18 was added to the battle royale title during Modern Warfare 3 (2023). It was meant to replicate the SPAS-12 and could also be wielded in Akimbo mode. However, with the Black Ops 6 integration with Warzone, the loadout system was revamped and this led to a glitch in the system.
It essentially allowed players to shoot the Shotgun at unprecedented fire rates that could take down enemies almost instantly. It could kill a fully armored player faster than any melee weapon could.

Although we don't know how the bug was discovered, the glitch was recently publicized by @itsHunterTV on their Twitch livestream where they discussed the bug in detail.
Essentially, players would equip the Reclaimer 18 Blueprint found in the Horseman Madness Tracer Pack called "Inside Voices". Then, they would create a brand-new build within the Gunsmith system with this Blueprint and remove attachments from it. Once this is done, players would back out from the loadout menu and then head back in to equip a new set of attachments, causing the glitch.

This would transform how the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun behaves, causing it to shoot at extremely fast fire rates and deal massive damage quickly at close- ranges, taking out the target instantly, even if they had all three armor plates on.
It took Call of Duty nearly two months to recognize the bug and put a stop to it, though this isn't the first time they ran into problems with Blueprints. The COR-45 Handgun has been added and removed from the shooter multiple times in the past owing to glitches of a similar nature.
That covers everything you need to know about the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun bug in the battle royale shooter and why it was removed from the game.
