The Warzone "Wolters-Peason" error prevents players from getting into the game. Usually, it follows the "connection failed" notice. There are two primary reasons for this connection error to occur: either Call of Duty servers are offline or an issue lies on the users' end. If it's the prior, users cannot resolve it on their own and have to wait for Call of Duty to fix its servers.

If it's the latter, however, a few known solutions can fix the issue. This brief guide takes a closer look at some of the fixes for the Warzone "Wolters-Peason" error.

Note: The solutions provided herein are not guaranteed to work for everyone.

How to possibly fix the Warzone "Wolters-Peason" error?

Before getting started with the fixes for the Warzone "Wolters-Peason" error, ensure that Call of Duty servers are up. If they are up and you are still facing the error, implement the fixes mentioned below:

Restart your router

The first thing to do if you're facing the Warzone "Wolters-Peason" error is to restart your router. A proper restart usually involves removing the power cables from the router and completely shutting it down. After at least 10 seconds have passed, connect the power cable and let the router boot back up. Although a simple router reboot may not seem like much, it can resolve many network issues.

A proper restart resets the router's cache, which can fix quite a few internet issues, such as packet bursts and high ping.

Flush your DNS cache (Windows 10/11 only)

If you're still getting the error, clear your DNS cache. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Launch Windows Command Prompt with administrator privileges.
  • In the CMD window, type ipconfig /flushdns.
  • Hit Enter.

If the DNS cache was cleared, you will be presented with a message that states "Successfully flushed DNS resolver cache". Now, restart your Windows PC and launch the game to see if the problem is resolved.

Use a different connection

Finally, try using a different ISP to connect to the game's servers. This isn't the best way to fix the issue but can help you identify the cause of the problem.

You can use your cellphone's hotspot to connect to the internet and then access the game. If you can play the game using your cellphone's network, it implies issues lie with your primary ISP, and you should contact them to get the problem resolved at the earliest.

These are all the known possible fixes for the Warzone "Wolters-Peason" error. If you're still facing the error despite implementing the abovementioned fixes, contact Activision's support team for further assistance.
