The Call of Duty community showed their support for Watchful Wolf (@TheWatchfulWolf), founder of the much anticipated H2M mod for Modern Warfare Remastered. The multiplayer mod was shelved following a cease-and-desist order by Activision on the day of its launch. He expressed his disappointment after the publisher shelved its game and shared his idea of developing a unique title.
XG (@xg_stephen) supported the tweet and encouraged them in their new endeavor. They stated that if they could recreate the classic Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer experience in a newer game, it would be a great success.
Some fans even urged @TheWatchWolf to start a crowdfunding campaign so that they could donate money.
Popular streamer @notblametruth, who has been playing CoD since 2007, even agreed to cover whatever @TheWatchfulWolf decided to do and thanked them for trying to bring some change to the Call of Duty community. The streamer’s willingness to back any project they pursue indicates the strong support the community has for the H2M creators.

YeetingNoodle (@YeetingNoodle) expressed their support by stating that they would redirect all the money they spent on Modern Warfare Remastered to the H2M creator’s new initiative, emphasizing their preference for the H2M creator's new project over Call of Duty.
Enso1Hunned (@TheLITKITT) urged everyone who has refunded Modern Warfare Remastered to use that refunded money and contribute that money to a fund supporting the new game.
The user also mentioned in another comment that they've taken a refund of their Black Ops 6 purchase and instead will use this money to support the new project or any other future initiatives by the H2M creators.
What is the H2M mode in Call of Duty, and why was it canceled?
H2M is a multiplayer mod for Modern Warfare Remastered aimed to fill the void left by Activision when they released the remastered version of Modern Warfare 2 without the multiplayer mode. The mod had more than 40 multiplayer maps from older Call of Duty titles as well as all the weapons and attachments featured in the original Modern Warfare 2.
The news of this mod got fans so excited that the overall sales of Modern Warfare Remastered saw a significant rise on Steam in the past few days. Unfortunately, the project had to be shut down due to Activision’s cease-and-desist order on the H2M Creators just on the day it was supposed to launch.
This has left a large part of the Call of Duty community disappointed, as they missed out on an opportunity to experience the legendary multiplayer elements of Modern Warfare 2 again.
