Campers in Warzone are the most annoying players to go up against, and many would agree with this claim. There are plenty of strategies that players can use to win more matches, but camping is arguably the most hated of them all. While it's a valid tactic in many battle royale titles including Warzone, many players find this strategy dull and lame. It contradicts the high-energy, fast-paced, and action-packed gameplay battle royales are known for.

This article will explain the camping strategy in Warzone and why players are frustrated going up against them.

Campers are players who stay in one place on the map throughout the entire match to kill unsuspecting enemies by surprise. These enemies usually take advantage of high grounds, chokepoints, stairs, and other map exploits.

Although camping is a valid strategy in Warzone, many don't enjoy going up against campers as they can finish off players quickly without even engaging in a gunfight. Many think that those who use this strategy are cowards who cannot survive in one-on-one battles.

It is also worth noting that every camper is not the same. Some like to act like turrets, scouting and hunting down enemies from high vantage points. They often position themselves on rooftops, buildings, or high posts and use long-range weapons like snipers.

However, there are campers in Warzone who like to hide in chokepoints or blind spots and take down enemies within their line of sight. They often use shotguns, SMGs, or other close-range weapons.

Regardless of the camping strategy, they are equally hard to play against. Normally, those who play in squads usually "sacrifice" or send off one player to check buildings or areas for campers. Things are a little tricky if you are going solo though, but you can always rely on stun and flash grenades to check an area.

While campers are frowned upon by the Call of Duty community, it looks like there's nothing Activision can do to eliminate them. It's safe to say that it's going to be around for more time. Players need to constantly adapt to these strategies and get creative with counter techniques against campers in Warzone.
