Cyber Attack in Modern Warfare 3 is a brand new mode that returns from previous Call of Duty games. It is one of the new multiplayer modes in MW3's recent update. Those who've experienced it in past titles like Modern Warfare reboot and 2022's Modern Warfare 2 may know what it's about. However, many users will play it for the first time.
We will discuss all key details while explaining the multiplayer mode of Cyber Attack in Modern Warfare 3 under the new Season 5 Reloaded update.
Cyber Attack in Modern Warfare 3 fully explained
Introduced in 2019's Modern Warfare from Infinity Ward, Cyber Attack involves the EMP device and disabling the enemy data center. This game mode was last seen in Modern Warfare 2 and now returns under Modern Warfare 3.
Cyber Attack in Modern Warfare 3 is a no-respawn mode in which two teams battle for the control of a centrally placed EMP device. Players of one team have to retrieve the device and then plant it at the enemy team's data center. If a player on the other team ends up with the device, they can plant it at the opposite team's data center.
The device carrier also gets extra intel via radar pings, and players can revive fallen teammates. Every two rounds, both teams switch sides and the first team to win five rounds eventually wins the match.
That's pretty much everything there is to know regarding the new multiplayer mode of Cyber Attack in Modern Warfare 3.
More multiplayer modes to explore in Modern Warfare 3
Cyber Attack is not the only mode for players to try out in the new Season 5 Reloaded update of Modern Warfare 3. There are three other modes to explore and enjoy, like Paintball mode, where you get eliminated with a single hit of paintballs.
Another one is Defuse and Destroy, in which players act as defenders or attackers while trying to defuse or protect a bomb. Interestingly, this mode slightly differs from Search and Destroy as the bomb will already be planted when the player spawns, compared to S&D.
Another mode called Fishfection is there in Modern Warfare 3 in which Operators' heads resemble those of cats and fish, and fight against one another. Operators playing as cats have the brand new Spear and the Torque 35 Compound Bow to hunt down the fish. On the other hand, players acting as fish must infect the cats and turn them into allies.
