What is the Defuse or Destroy mode in Modern Warfare 3?

The all-new Defuse or Destroy in Modern Warfare 3 is a round-based objective mode where players can choose to either defend or attack. With a little twist from what we see in Search and Destroy mode, the Defuse or Destroy offers a bomb already planted from the start of a round.

As there are two possible sites where the bomb can be planted, both attackers and defenders must locate that site. The main objective of defenders is to defuse the bomb in a limited time before it explodes. The goal of attackers, on the other hand, is to eliminate all the defenders who are attempting to defuse.

This new mode in Modern Warfare 3 offers fast-paced gameplay from the beginning of a round where both teams must take prompt actions to get victory. That said, Activision has not revealed any specific date for the introduction of the said mode to the title. However, players can expect this mode shortly after the update for Season 5 Reloaded goes live on August 21, 9 AM PT.
