Final Story mission in MW3 Zombies explored

In the final story, you must venture into the Dark Aether one last time alongside Dr. Jansen and Ravenov. Your objective is to sever the Entity’s connection with Dr. Jansen and prevent further incursions of the Dark Aether into the Zaravan Exclusion Zone. The new area features a gravity-defying Dark Aether arena where you can move around using Aetherium launch pads.

The Zombies story began with the global release of MW3 last year and continued from Black Ops Cold War. In this narrative, Victor Zakhaev, the main antagonist, and Jack Fletcher, an ex-NZDF operative, obtained Aetherium—a dangerous substance capable of transforming humans into zombies.

To neutralize their nefarious scheme and contain the threat of the undead, a specialized team called Deadbolt was formed, led by the popular characters Sergei Ravenov and Soap. They work with Dr. Ava Jansen, an expert in neutralizing Aetherium.

As the story progresses, new secrets and twists emerge. Dr. Ava Jansen, the central figure, learns about her identity, her visions, and her connection to the Dark Aether.
