The update is going to be filled with fresh options across weapon classes, Multiplayer modes, and also maps. New core 6v6 Multiplayer maps in Modern Warfare 3 Season 5

The developing team of Sledgehammer Games will introduce two brand new core 6v6 Multiplayer maps with MW3 Season 5. While one is a sunny dock located in Florida, the other is a cel-shaded junkyard in the Sonoran Desert. Below are the crucial details for both of them:

  • Bait: This medium-sized 6v6 map will allow players to fight among tiki huts and take a swim in the pool. They can even remain at the dockside while watching for enemy movement near interior spaces like the Restaurant, Boat House, and Bait Shop.
  • Yard: This small-sized cel-shaded map twists around the base of the Central Crane, surrounded by dirt pathways, containers, and discarded components. The eastern Garage offers a tight flanking path down the map, but most of the action takes place in the open area.

A WWE-inspired mode is coming to Modern Warfare 3 Season 5

Thanks to an officially announced WWE crossover in Modern Warfare 3, players will witness a unique mode called Slam Deathmatch. Under this mode, players can down their enemies with weapons but they will have to use WWE-inspired Finishing Moves in order to kill the downed opponents and earn points.

What’s interesting to note is that all the Finishing Moves will be randomized. This means there will be a unique move available almost every time.

Four weapons confirmed for Modern Warfare 3 Season 5

There are four new weapons arriving with the next update on July 24, 2024. Alongside two guns, players will also witness a melee weapon as well as a launcher. The details on all the weapons has been provided below.

  • Static-HV: The submachine gun boasts a high fire rate and significant ammo capacity with a base of 50 rounds in its factory magazine.
  • STG: The assault rifle has been seen in many Call of Duty games in the past. Now it’s set to return as a hard-hitting primary weapon.
  • Spear: This melee weapon is built for the demands of modern combat. Players will be given three retrievable Spears with a reticle with every spawn in the game.
  • Torque 35: This launcher is basically a compound bow that will help players take down targets with ease. The weapon will come with 20 retrievable arrows, a red dot sight for accurate shots, and an impressive weapon inspection animation.
