Extreme Magnification Scopes in Modern Warfare 3 are optical sights that have a zoom factor of at least 8x. These are usually equipped on Sniper Rifles as they allow the players to see their targets over long distances clearly. However, players usually do not use scopes with such high magnification levels in Multiplayer modes as the maps are smaller, and scopes with 4x zoom levels or lower get the job done.
