H2M mod is a Multiplayer mod for Modern Warfare Remastered (2016). However, instead of targeting to bring MWR back to life, it aims to recreate the classic Modern Warfare 2 (2009) experience with "new twists." As things stand, the mod is yet to be publicly released and is still being worked on. Still, the release date is close and developers have already started sharing trailers and hyping fans up for its launch.
In this article, we will take a look at the H2M mod for Modern Warfare Remastered.
Everything that fans need to know about the H2M mod for Modern Warfare Remastered
At its core, H2M is a Multiplayer mod built especially for Modern Warfare Remastered. It will allow users to play not only on the MWR maps but also the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps as well as maps created from the campaign of MW2 Remastered (2020). This will give players the opportunity to dive back in time to the golden days of Call of Duty but with new and updated visuals.
At launch, fans can expect access to over 50 Multiplayer maps from classic Call of Duty titles. On top of it, it will feature weapons from MW2 Remastered as well as a few MWR weapons. Needless to say, fans will also have access to all the classic weapon attachments from MW2.
Similarly, the mod will feature the original MW2 Killstreaks such as the Predator Missle, Chopper Gunner, and the most devastating of them all, the Tactical Nuke. The progression towards these Killstreaks will also follow the rules of the original Modern Warfare 2, where kills earned via Killstreaks count towards the next streak.
The progression system will also remain similar to the original MW2 but with a few changes. There will be 70 Ranks in Multiplayer and 10 Prestige Levels. Once players are done with all the 10 Prestige Levels, they can level up their account to Level 1000.

The same goes for the Emblems, Calling Cards, and other in-game items, which will see the original items along with a couple of new ones designed specifically for the H2M mod.
The H2M mod will be officially released on August 16, 2024. Once the project is public, fans will be able to download and install it alongside their Steam copy of Modern Warfare Multiplayer Remastered to enjoy all the new features it brings to the table.
