Holiday Rush in Warzone is a new limited-time mode that was added to the title with the Season 1 Reloaded update. Celebrating the festive season, Call of Duty has given the Resurgence map Area 99 a Christmas makeover; it won't be the deserted land it used to be anymore, as snow takes over. That's not all, though, as the mode has a few tricks up its sleeves.

Read below to learn more about the new limited-time game mode Holiday Rush in Warzone.

Everything that fans need to know about Holiday Rush in Warzone

Holiday Rush in Warzone will be played entirely on Area 99. Apart from the snow makeover, Christmas firs have been replaced with Deck the Halls trees, which act as loot hot zones. These areas will spawn high-tier loot and players must compete around the trees to get their hands on these coveted items.

In Holiday Rush, you will also find Snowball Coolers spread around Area 99. By opening them up, you can access snowballs and, yes, you can use them to fight.

Apart from these changes, the mode adds a few tweaks to the gameplay. First of all, the gas circles will be much smaller, forcing players to fight closer to each other. Secondly, the transition between circle collapses will be much faster in this mode on the Area 99 map.

All these changes have been implemented to ensure that Holiday Rush keeps the heat on the players, delivering fast-paced action that keeps them constantly engaged and on the lookout for enemies.

That aside, the usual game rules for Resurgence will apply, and there are huge changes with regard to the game mode.
