Infectious Holiday in Black Ops 6 is a limited-time mode released with the launch of BO6 Season 1 Reloaded on December 5, 2024. It puts a festive twist on the already popular Infected mode, where players are randomly assigned to two teams. However, all involved players are dressed up in festive costumes.
This article explains how Infectious Holiday in Black Ops 6 functions.
Infectious Holiday in Black Ops 6: New limited-time mode explained
Infectious Holiday in Black Ops 6 requires all Operators, alive and fallen, to wear festive clothing. The rules are the same as the BO6 Infected mode. A 15-second timer will go off at the beginning of each round. At the end of it, players will either join the team of the infected or remain human.
The objectives are simple. The infected team must hunt down the living and infect them. The other team must survive and shoot down any zombies coming their way. If there are more Survivors than the infected, the Survivor team will take the win and vice-versa.
The infected players will receive melee weapons that they can use to attack and infect the Survivors. Meanwhile, the Survivors will get guns to fend off the zombies.
The infected respawn after being shot down. However, once the Survivors get hit by the infected, they turn into zombies and join the opposite team.
While playing Infectious Holiday in Black Ops 6 on Nuketown, you can also look for piles of snow lying around the map, which can be used to make snowballs to throw at enemies. A successful hit can result in a one-shot elimination. This feature is only available for a limited period, so use it to your advantage as often as possible.
