Jingle Hells is a limited-time mode (LTM) returning to Call of Duty by being added to Black Ops 6 Zombies. First introduced in Black Ops Cold War, this LTM perfectly complements the holiday season, featuring festive decorations across Liberty Falls.

This map now has snowy weather, snow-covered landscapes, charming elements like snowmen and snowballs, and various Christmas ornaments. Even the zombies have undergone a festive makeover, wearing Christmas hats and reindeer antlers to match the seasonal vibe.

This article provides an overview of Jingle Hells, detailing the gameplay and festive changes introduced during this event in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Liberty Falls has been redesigned with festive decorations and gameplay modifications. While this BO6 map's main quest remains active, allowing players to earn associated rewards, certain mechanics have been altered to increase the challenge it poses:

  • The Arsenal Machine, Mystery Boxes, and Crafting Table are absent, meaning you cannot collect Salvage to upgrade weapon rarity or purchase support items like lethal, tactical, or support gear.
  • Instead, the map introduces gifting and secret elements that offer unique gameplay experiences.

Snowballs and snowmen

  • Snowballs: Scattered across the map, snowballs can be collected and thrown at zombies to freeze and significantly slow them down.
  • Snowmen: These aren't ordinary snowmen — most hide zombies inside, which are revealed when the snowmen are shot. Some snowmen also contain loot.

New power-up: Naughty or Nice Sock

This new power-up is exclusive to Jingle Hells in Zombies and appears as a sock. When you walk through it, the game tells you whether the sock you acquired was naughty or nice. If it was nice, you'll get rewards. If it was naughty, Zombies will spawn around you.

Special rounds: Freezing winds

During special rounds, freezing winds blow through the map. As such, staying outside will cause you to freeze up and slow down, so it is best to seek shelter and fight zombies in it.

Zombies drop presents

When zombies are eliminated, they sometimes drop presents. Opening these can yield valuable loot, including rare weapons and equipment.

S.A.M.T.A. Trials

S.A.M. Trials have been rebranded as S.A.M.T.A. Trials and now have a festive appearance. In this LTM, gift boxes near the machine used to activate the trials often contain high-tier loot, making them worth seeking out before activating the trials.

New Whimsical GobbleGum: Holiday Cheer

A new GobbleGum, Holiday Cheer, offers a purely decorative function, giving zombies a festive makeover. While it doesn’t provide a gameplay advantage, this LTM is the best way to obtain it.
