Ransack in Black Ops 6 is a new 6v6 Multiplayer game mode added with the Season 1 update. The mode brings unique gameplay elements to the title that involve proper teamplay and tactical decisions. Simply put, Ransack will require you to loot and defend. While it can get a little complicated, we'll discuss the new game mode in-depth to simplify it.

Everything that players need to know about Ransack in Black Ops 6

Ransack in Black Ops 6 requires you to loot gold bars that spawn in different parts of the map. Once the gold bars have been collected, bring them back to your team's "stash" and deposit them there. However, the opponents will be able to loot your team's stash and get their hands on all the gold bars you have deposited, stealing them all in one go.

This makes the game mode highly tactical as you must work with your team to loot and defend at the same time, adding to the thrill.

As for the win conditions, it is determined by only one factor: gold. The team with the most gold bars in their stash before the match's time limit is reached, will win the game. Alternatively, the team that reaches the match's score limit, also determined by the number of gold bars a team has stashed, wins the match.

It is a fun new addition and similar modes have been present in the past, such as Grind, where players must collect dog tags from fallen enemies and bank them to earn points. However, in Grind, the location to bank these tags keeps rotating and they can only be earned upon elimination.

Ransack in Black Ops 6, though carries a similar theme, plays out differently. In this mode, the team's stash won't change location nor do you have to kill your foes to earn gold bars.

Instead, both teams will compete for gold bars that are in different parts of the map and bring them back to their base once collected. Your ability to steal them all adds to the mode's fun factor. This makes both a good defense and attack strategy mandatory in this game mode to win.
