Similar to previous installments in the franchise, the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Campaign will introduce various new characters. However, the one face who has attracted many eye balls so far is Troy Marshall. He was the one making rounds on the game's key art with a mystery surrounding his identity until it was disclosed during the deep-dive session few days ago.

Troy Marshall's character in Black Ops 6 Campaign explained

In the story, Troy Marshall will be a protege of Frank Woods, a returning character from Black Ops Cold War. Marshall has been making a name for himself for a long time in the field. He's a methodical leader who's driven by a solid moral compass.

Similar to Woods, Marshall's character also has a single-mided focus in getting rid of any adversity, a stubborn streak that can sometimes border on recklessness. Under the BO6 Campaign, Marshall will be seen working together with Woods alongside another new character and CIA handler, Jane Harrow.

While Woods will mostly be seen operating in shadows, Marshall will be the one making tough calls in the field. However, he and Woods will get suspended due to an operation going wrong. The developers haven't shared more details regarding the story as of now.

Another interesting thing to note is that Marshall's character in Black Ops 6 is voiced by popular Panamian-American actor Y'lan Noel. The latter is known for his roles in the hit TV series, Insecure, and 2018's horror movie, The First Purge.
