The introduction of Aftermarket Parts in MW3 has impressed players, and many of them might be wondering if they will return to this franchise with CoD Black Ops 6. While Treyarch's upcoming release is packed with new innovations in movement and weapons, having Aftermarket Parts back won't necessarily hurt BO6's overall experience. However, this title is unlikely to see these items.

This article will discuss why that is the case below.

The Aftermarket Parts feature might not return with CoD Black Ops 6

Aftermarket Parts are unlikely to return in Black Ops 6 because Treyarch's team has clearly mentioned that its game will take place in the '90s. As such, the studio is likely focusing on keeping the title's content in line with that period, especially when it comes to weapons.

Black Ops 6 will introduce 12 weapons that will debut in Activision's Call of Duty franchise as part of this title. All these firearms will work in a fashion suited to the early 1990s. This means their behavior, how they operate, and their performance will be similar to most weapons from that period.

On the other hand, Aftermarket Parts in the existing Modern Warfare 3 installment are catered mostly towards modern weapons and their attachments. Can this same format of transforming a weapon into a different one work in Black Ops 6? Maybe, but the chances are looking weak right now.

Many players have appreciated the concept that lets them transform their pistols or SMGs into completely different weapons through Aftermarket Parts. However, they may not see this feature return to this franchise going forward. But this is pure speculation for now.

It will be interesting to see if Treyarch will come up with information regarding Aftermarket Parts' inclusion in BO6 ahead of its release on October 25.
