With Black Ops 6 just around the corner, fans have been wondering whether their COD Points (CP) from MW3 and Warzone will carry over. Apart from the recent reveal trailer in the Xbox Games Showcase and new gameplay mechanics, not much was disclosed about the upcoming title. This has left fans in the dark about the carry-over details for the COD Points that they purchased with real currency.
Hence, in this brief article, we'll explore the possibilities of your COD Points from MW3 and Warzone being transferred to Black Ops 6.
Will my COD Points from MW3 and Warzone carry over to Black Ops 6?
As of this writing, Call of Duty has not confirmed whether your COD Points from MW3 and Warzone will transfer to Black Ops 6. In the blog detailing all items that are going to transfer to the upcoming game, there has been no mention of Call of Duty Points.
The blog only states that no content from Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, except for the Woods Operator Pack, will carry over to BO6. That said, everything will carry over to Warzone. Nothing has been explicitly mentioned about the Call of Duty points.
There's always room for speculation, though. It has been officially confirmed that BO6 will be integrated with Warzone and weapons from Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 will be present in WZ alongside the BO6 weapons. Moreover, it is known that Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare 2 are completely integrated with WZ, along with Call of Duty Points and in-game purchases.
Hence, due to the integration of Modern Warfare 3 and BO6 with the battle royale title, it can be speculated that your COD Points from MW3 and Warzone will carry over to Black Ops 6.
On the other hand, it is possible that following the BO6 release, Call of Duty might go the WZM route, where the CP purchases in the mobile game don't transfer to the mainstream games and vice versa, despite sharing the same weapons, Battle Pass, and progression system.
For those who are new to the franchise, COD Points or Call of Duty Points, are in-game currency used in COD games to purchase in-game content such as store Bundles, Blueprints, Battle Pass, and more. These in-game points can be bought with real-world currency and the only way one can earn them in-game for free is through the Battle Pass.
That covers everything you need to know about the possible carryover of Call of Duty points from MW3 and Warzone to Black Ops 6. Please note that these are merely speculations based on previous trends.
