The significance of Double XP tokens is huge among Call of Duty players, so it's natural for many to hope to carry their tokens from Modern Warfare 3 to Black Ops 6. However, the developers have indicated that a lot of content from the ongoing installment won't transfer to the new FPS premium. Will that be the case with XP tokens as well?

This article will discuss the possibilities of whether Double XP tokens from MW3 will transfer to CoD Black Ops 6 or not.

Black Ops 6 may include Double XP tokens from Modern Warfare 3

While the Carry Forward system won't apply to Black Ops 6, including Double XP tokens from MW3 shouldn't be an issue for the developers. It's simply because last year's Modern Warfare 3 also carried Double XP tokens from MW2. In general, CoD Points and XP tokens are something that are attached to a player's account rather than the game's UI itself.

Thus, Treyarch's team might end up enabling Double XP tokens from MW3 in Black Ops 6. Doing so won't affect BO6's overall experience like how other elements like weapon and Operator skins do.

But again, this is purely speculation as of now and should be taken with a grain of salt unless there comes an actual announcement from Treyarch.

BO6 to feature multiple gameplay features at launch

Treyarch's team has confirmed that BO6 will pack a solid punch when it comes to offering a plethora of content to players. At launch, the game will arrive with 16 Multiplayer maps. Out of them, 12 will be core 6v6 maps while four will support 2v2 matches alongside traditional 6v6 modes.

Additionally, BO6 will also have 12 Operators from two main Factions for its Multiplayer setup. There will be a new movement overhaul as well with the introduction of Omnimovement. It will allow players to slide, dive, and sprint in any direction they want.
